I bet you've been waiting for this. Grow Home is a lot of fun, we sure can tell. And despite how long it took for us to get this working, now we have finally a free download that works as intended. Don't miss this one, as I feel that you'll most likely regret it eventually.
The game combines platforming, adventure elements, action packed scenarios. But what makes it so innovative, is that it's all wrapped up in a beautiful open-world environment. Grow Home has you playing as B.U.D. (Biomechanical Unit Droid), and you main goal is to let the main plant of the planet grow at its fullest. That, can be done through collecting crystal shards shattered around the playable area. Though in order to succeed, more exploration tasks need to be fulfilled.
Each of B.U.D's arms is independent. Much like games in the likes of Octodad (although here it's not as stressed). Climbing and jumping between ledges is quite tricky, so an Xbox controller may really be what it takes to master all the movements functions. With the keyboard, however, we haven't had any problem. Therefore, don't let it be your excuse to avoid this download.
